...travelling to/from airport via bus: Shuttle buses depart Munich’s Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) and Munich Airport every 20 minutes; you must pay on board because this shuttle bus is not part of the MVV network.
...travelling to/from airport via taxi: Messe Muenchen International (MMI) and Munich-area taxi companies have jointly set a year-round taxi fare of € 59. This fare applies only to the shortest route by kilometers between the airport and the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. A one-way taxi ride typically lasts about 35 minutes (depending on the volume of traffic).

|MVV Museum Busline|
|The bus no. 100 stops near many museums in Munich. Get off the bus – visit a museum – get onto the bus! You might choose to begin your journey at Ostbahnhof or Hauptbahnhof Nord (Arnulfstraße); MVV tickets available from vending machines in buses. Make sure you have plenty of coins! The Munich greater metropolitan area is served by suburban trains (S-Bahn), underground trains (U-Bahn), trams and buses. These four means of public transport are operated by MVV (www.mvv-muenchen.de, phone 41424344); one ticket allows you to use all MVV transport services. The MVV network consists of rings and zones which determine the fare you will pay. The Messestadt (Trade Fair Centre) is within the MVV Innenraum (Inner District).
A CityTourCard is ideal for tourists: it not only includes MVV transport services but also provides you discounts on many tourist attractions. From € 10.90/1 person/1 day. Also sold at Tourist Information sites.
Or buy a day ticket for as many trips as you like, e.g. from € 6.40 for the Inner District. You can buy MVV tickets at vending machines in MVV stations and at tram/bus stops.
