Restaurant „August und Maria“ is famous for it’s fine dining in an elegant, but also cosy atmosphere.
Chef Mario Huggler serves traditional Bavarian cuisine with a special twist, inspired by products from the region and venison from the family owned hunting ground. As a special ad on famous Ayinger beer is served in every different way (even in some of the dishes), of course the wine list offers a great selection as well. In family ownership since 1810, the Inselkammer family is now the seventh generation to cultivate personal, warm hospitality.
Restaurant “August und Maria” is recommended by all leading gourmet guides. In 2016 it was awarded as “Excellent Bavarian cuisine” with the highest rating, since October 2017 also as restaurant with an “Extraordinary beer culture”.
