Passionate about Erding – feeling good and tasting the Weißbier
Old town centres, beer traditions and the world’s largest thermal spring complex are prominent in the make-up of the Erding region, along with the charming countryside such as that to be found in the Erding Moor and the Holzland wooded areas.
No matter whether you are planning to visit the Erding region for business reasons, or attending a trade fair, or as a holiday-maker, Erding has something for everyone.
Just getting here is really easy thanks to the area’s central location east of the state capital of Munich and the excellent public transport connections which make the Erding region simple to reach by plane, train or by car, and no traffic jams.
Erding is known for two superlatives. First of all for the first-class beers produced by Weißbräu, the world’s market leader and Germany’s largest privately owned brewery. And secondly for the Thermenwelt Erding, the world’s largest thermal spring complex with a wide choice of spa opportunities and saunas along with a whole lot of fun for all the family in the Galaxy, Europe’s largest collection of flumes.
And nature lovers and sportsmen get their money’s worth for the region has a lot to offer. Along with the internationally known golf course at Munich Eichenried there are four more golf courses in the area with 9 to 27 holes. In addition for relaxation there is a multitude of hiking trails and walks at all levels of difficulty. The wide expanses in the west and idyllic hilly country in the east can be explored on the well-developed network of bike trails. You can hire e-bikes at various rental shops and cycle along trails specially designed for e-bikes.
